Anodyne Coffeehouse is an independent, urban café nestled in Minneapolis’ Kingfield neighborhood. We serve homemade breakfast, lunch, dinner and an assortment of baked goods made daily in-house. Our coffee comes from locally-roasted beans, while our teas and chai are blended right here in Minneapolis.

We began in 1996 with a simple passion: great coffee. It wasn’t long before adding some tasty eats sounded like a good plan. We began making what is now our signature Eggspresso breakfast-eggs steamed with an espresso wand. People wanted more!

When we added a full kitchen, we brought our ideals with us-use fresh, local ingredients whenever possible and patronize local coffee roasters, tea companies, and farms. We make everything from scratch-even our soup stock and baked goods. Limiting our waste is important to us, too. We compost, use real dishes, and use compostable take-out containers.

Furthering the spirit of community, a rotating selection of locally-created art adorns our walls. Anything goes-poetry, spoken word and music-the first Friday of each month, when we welcome you for Open Stage night. It’s been a mainstay of Anodyne since day one.
